Questions
Do my guests need to download an app?+
No. They scan the QR code on the table, or tap the link in your Instagram bio, and the menu opens in their browser. Nothing to download.
How fast can I change a price?+
As fast as you can type it. Open Mataaem on your phone, tap the price, change it. It is live on every table at once, no reprinting. You can also raise the whole menu by a percentage in one go.
Can I show prices in lira too?+
Yes. Write your prices in dollars and switch on lira: guests get a $ / LL button, using the rate you set.
What about Arabic?+
Every dish and section can have its Arabic name next to the English one, written right to left in a proper Arabic font.
How do I pay?+
With Whish or OMT, monthly or yearly. No card needed. The first 14 days are free and you do not pay anything to start.
Do I need my own website or domain?+
No. You get your-name.mataaem.me the minute you sign up. On the Website plan you can also use your own domain.
How do online bookings work?+
Guests pick the day, the time and how many they are on your website. Mataaem gives them a table that fits, keeps it for as long as you set, and the booking appears in your book and on your floor plan at once. You can still take phone bookings and walk-ins in the same place.
Is there a point of sale?+
No, on purpose. Mataaem is about what happens before the guest sits down: finding you, reading the menu, booking a table. Keep your cashier as it is.
